a bungalow of volumes. the design for this house is derived from the triangular site and its terrain, resulting in series of volumes interlocked together. each volume is given a specific material form and expression: a stripy fair concrete face in the front, a shiny metallic hat on the side, a white rough plastered base at the rear, and a brooding black granite tip to the top. the volumes, the material expressions and the myriad of details on the exterior form the basis of a well crafted house. internally, a triple volume space connects the family together on all three levels.
